Made in 1939, Boxlock, 27" Nitro barrels, sunken rib, magnificent ACANTHUS scroll that extends up on the barrels, 2 ½ chamber, choked IC/M , percussion fences, slender top lever, automatic safety , Acanthus scroll on barrel, highly detailed bouquet and scroll engraving on the receiver , side panels with elongated drop points, multi point checkering, perfect screws, perfect engraving, virtually all of the case color, dark wood that’s near perfect! Old silvers pad! Straight grip, splinter forend, double trigger, auto ejector, a birds hunter delight! This gun was originally built for a General in the English army that was highly decorated, a very special gun!
