James Purdey & Son - SxS, 12ga. 30" Whitworth Steel Barrels Choked C/IM. Double triggers, automatic ejector, splinter forend, choked C/IM. Sir Joseph Whitworth steel barrels, 2 ½" chamber, perfect barrels, straight grip checkered butt, highly figured wood. Comes from England in its original oak and leather case, although the case shows lots of wear. This gun has gone through a major inspection overhaul in London and the gun is up to factory new standards where they spared no cost to go through this gun. This gun is indistinguishable from a new gun. The engraving is perfect and sharp, 95% case color. Essentially a new gun, there is no sign of any use since the work.
