Constructed for Henry Graves, the late 19th century New York banking magnate who was universally acknowledged at that time as the greatest stickler for detail, now onto the gun; beautiful French walnut round knob grip stock with gold cap featuring HG initials in a script style font surrounded by delicate scroll, finely checkered sidepanels with fleur-de-lis, finely checkered wrist, skeleton butt plate, splinter forend with matching fine checkering, double triggers, automatic ejectors, solid rib, Acme fluid steel barrels, 1 ½ frame, perfect and untouched screws, the engraving is as sharp as the day it was delivered to Mr. Graves, vivid 100% case coloring, engraved bands on muzzle and large breech wedges engraved on barrels not found on this grade Parker, engraved to a higher level than A1 Special grade guns and features pointers on each side of the receiver, highly detail stag and swan vignettes on bottom of the receiver in relief style engraving, and pointer on trigger guard bow, surrounded by the classic Parker style full coverage fine scroll, includes leather case with HG NY NY embossment and Von Lengerke & Detmold label with 346 Madison Avenue address, includes original accoutrements, factory correspondence, and original hang tags, this gun is beyond belief in every regard and is unquestionably of museum quality, CSMC is the leading purveyor of high grade Parker shotguns in the world including the three Invincibles and many A1 Specials, and we can confidently state that this gun is one of the finest Parker we have ever had the opportunity to handle, this gun remains in perfect collector condition and appears to be unfired and possibly not ever even been put together outside of the factory, the very best of the very best, available for immediate delivery.
