Superbird Information

The Superbird stands out due to its distinctive features, with the most prominent being its 12-gauge radius boxlock frame that is crafted for heavyweight comppetition shooting and depending on your wood preferences, you can select a range of wood grades, 2x, 3x, 4x, or exhibition. Every Superbird comes equipped with non-automatic ejectors and safety mechanisms, ensuring controlled handling. Moreover, it proves the versatility to switch between barrels, and the single selective trigger enchances your shooting experience, all while mitigating recoil with the help of a recoil pad. The Superbird is engineered to shoot all day long, in fact, after one shot we're confident you won't want to put it aside.

The Anson & Deeley system is a classic design for a boxlock shotgun that was invented by Thomas Anson & William Deeley in the late 19th-century - it's known for its reliability, strength, simplicity, and robustness.
While many modern shotguns may have a boxlock appearance, not all of them use the true Anson & Deeley system. Authentic Anson & Deeley actions are often considered more complex to machine and assemble than some other designs, but they have stood the test of time. It's why we machine ach one from a solid steel block to ensure precision and reliability. It's a testament to the enduring appeal of well-crafted firearms that combine both function and aesthetics. It's what makes the Superbird simply superb.

Many Superbird shotguns come with the option of 28" or 30" barrels, weighing around 8 1/2 lbs. It's worth noting that the weight can be customized based on your preferences when you place your order and since all Superbird shotguns are exclusively made to order, it allows you to select barrel lengths ranging from 26" to 32".
All of our Superbird shotguns are hand engraved with the distinctive "Superbird" on the doorplate along with a receiver finished in attractive case color, complemented by a blued trigger guard and barrel. French Gray option is also available for a more traditional look.
Our standard choices for wood stocks include Black Walnut, Turkish Circassian Walnut, or English Walnut. These stocks are accurately crafted with our own custom oil finish. To further customize your Superbird shotgun, you have the option to choose from a range of heavy target-configured stocks including ventilated rib, beavertail, or splinter along with your preferred grip style, which can be a pistol grip, semi-pistol grip, or straight grip. In all, these options ensure your shotgun aligns with your shooting style.
