Made in 1956, heavy proof pigeon gun, 2 3/4", 3 1/4 ton, side clip, third fastener, raised solid stippled rib, leather recoil pad, splinter forend, straight grip, factory single selective trigger, SPECIAL ORDER, this gun shows ZERO use of ever being shot and is 100% original and has 100% of the brilliant case color from 1956, barrel blue, and wood finish. Vacant gold oval, trigger guard has 100% of the blue! The engraving on the gun is perfect and is of the highest quality Purdey has ever did.
30" thick perfect barrels that have never been altered, choked IM/IC, in its original Purdey case, accessories such as snap caps and cleaning rods, canvas cover and Purdey label!
Essentially a new gun from 1956, the canvas cover is a bit dirty, but this is a new gun! The checkering is sharp, the screws are perfect! Highly figured French walnut wood! One of the best heavy duty Purdeys with every option you'd want on a gun. This would be it!
