Description
This is the original pad that all high-grade gun companies used. It is exactly like the pre-World War II Silvers pad. Early guns by Purdey, Parker, Fox, Ithaca, Winchester, Holland, Sauer, Merkel, L.C. Smith, etc. would have been shipped with this pad. It is absolutely indistinguishable from the original in style, size, and color. It makes the finest base for traditional leather covered pads. Base measures 6" long and 1 32/33" wide (at the widest point). It has two 5/8" diameter "knock out" plugs for easy access to screw during installation. Screw holes are 3 1/4" apart; midway between these holes is a cavity 1" wide and 2 1/2" long. Color: orange
