Purdey Style self-opening, sidelock ejectors. 28” barrels marked 1 and 2. One gun marked 61 Pall Mall Street, London. The other gun marked Jeremy Street, London. Proofed in 1977. First gun cylinder and quarter choked. Second gun is improved cylinder and quarter choked. Top levers marked 1 and 2 with a gold inlayed safe. Beesley Purdey patent. Straight grip, checkered butt, splinter forend. These are magnificent, very high-quality guns. Vacant gold oval, perfect screws, highly figured wood. These guns are in completely new condition with 100% case color, and barrel blue. The level of workmanship on these guns exceeds the price. In their original oak and leather case. Guns are engraved with magnificent English scroll. These guns are very high quality, meeting or exceeding anything made in London. They are true small bores.
