Description

Joseph Hambrusch - Ferlach Drilling Rifle, SxS, 16ga/.22 Hornet. 24" Barrels. This is a very small frame with hidden .22 Hornet barrel made in 1941. For a gun to be made in 1941 of this quality, it would have to be very special. 24” barrel, English proved in 2024, tapered solid matted rib, flip up rear sight, inlayed rear sight, bead fore sight, engraved “Joseph Hambrusch” on breech end. “Boehler-Blitz Stahl” engraved on barrel, fitted with a weaver scope on a quick detachable claw mount. 2 ½” chamber choked F/F. Treble grip action, side clips, very ornate stepped bolsters, cocking indicators, tang mounted selector, actuating flip up sight, automatic safety with engraved “S”, set front trigger, fences engraved in high relief with deep floral motifs, the action has Germanic scroll with superb vignettes. On the left side a fox with pheasants, right side has running rabbit, the bottom features in deep sculpted relief of a capercaillie. It also features automatic ejectors which is very seldom seen, although they are currently disabled. The engraving on this gun is equal or surpassing any modern engraving. The trigger guard features a partridge in deep chiseled relief. Anson & Deely forend, sling swivels. Stock still has the original cartouche and gold oval with initials and original cheek piece stock. The most remarkable thing about this gun is that it remains new and unfired. 100% case color, wood finish, and checkering. Perfect screws. This gun is of extremely high quality. It is available at a fraction of the cost to make this gun. Outstanding in every single way.
