Magnificent semi relief game scenes of pointers and grouse, foxes and duck, all surrounded by German medium style scroll. Two splinter forends, two sets of barrels. First set of barrels, 410 bore 28” choked F/F. Second set of barrels, 28ga 28” choked IC/IM. Each barrel has its own forend. 2 ¾” chambers, third fastener, coined finish receiver, perfect checkering. This is an unused gun that is brand new. 100% wood finish, checkering, and barrel blue. This outstanding, very high grade sidelock shotgun is the highest degree of workmanship Merkel offered and a small bore two-barrel set is almost unheard of. This gun remains new in its highest quality leather case with all accessories from the factory. Replacement cost of this gun is almost $30,000.
